Nearly a week ago, the Miami Heat were taken out of the 2022 NBA playoffs after the Boston Celtics pulled off a Game 7 win over the Floridian team at FTX Arena. Just when people thought nothing could stop the Heat from reaching the NBA Finals for the second time in the last three seasons, the C's told otherwise.

Now, the offseason starts for them, and they are already working to assemble a good team ahead of the 2022/23 campaign. The Heat have been linked with many players in recent times and that won't be changing anytime soon.

For instance, one anonymous executive told Sean Deveney of Heavy that they 'would love' to acquire Patrick Beverley's services. Bev just finished a season where he helped the Minnesota Timberwolves to the first round of the playoffs, where Ja Morant and the Memphis Grizzlies eliminated them.
