The Colorado Avalanche and the St. Louis Blues meet in game six of their best-of-seven NHL playoff series in a conference semi-final matchup from the Enterprise Centre on Friday night.

The Colorado Avalanche will be looking to rebound after failing to close out the series in game five after a 5-4 OT loss to the Blues last time out. Cale Makar and Nathan MacKinnon each have a team-high 13 points with MacKinnon logging 8 goals and 5 assists while Makar has 10 assists. Gabriel Landeskog and Mikko Rantanen each have 11 points with Landeskog logging 6 goals and 5 assists while Rantanen has 10 apples. Nazem Kadri also has 10 points split between 5 goals and 5 assists. Darcy Kuemper is 5-2 so far in the postseason, posting a .904 save percentage and a 2.50 GAA while Pavel Francouz is also 2-0 with a .902 save percentage and a 2.97 GAA so far in the postseason.

The St. Louis Blues will look to force a game seven in this one after saving their season in game five. David Perron leads the Blues in scoring with 13 points including a team-high 9 goals and 4 assists while Ryan O’Reilly has 12 points with 7 goals and 5 apples. Pavel Buchnevich has 11 points with 10 assists while Jordan Kyrou has 9 points with 6 goals and Vladimir Tarasenko has 8 points with 6 goals of his own on the year. Ville Husso will be the goaltender for the rest of the second round after Jordan Binnington sustained an injury in game three and Husso is 2-4 with an .884 save percentage and a 3.78 GAA this postseason.

Colorado is 4-0 in their last 4 road games and 7-2 in their last 9 playoff games as a favorite while the over is 8-3 in their last 11 games as a favorite. St. Louis is 18-8 in their last 26 games overall and 4-10 in their last 14 playoff games as an underdog while the over is 7-3 in their last 10 home games.

I get the case to be made either way in this one, but I love the over here. Despite this being playoff hockey, goals have been coming in bunches in this series and I expect game six to be no different. The offense here has been so, so good and I think we could have another 7-goal game if not more here. Give me the over.
