Four-star running back Trey Holly (Farmerville, La.) committed to LSU on Sunday, giving the program its fifth commitment and first running back in the 2023 recruiting class.

Holly is ranked the No. 10 running back in the country, per the 247Sports Composite, and the 5-foot-8, 180-pound prospect was named the Louisiana 3A Offensive Player of the Year in both 2020 and 2021. At 7,829 rushing yards in his Union Parish High career, he’s well-positioned to break the Louisiana high school rushing record currently held by former LSU back Nick Brossette.
