The Los Angeles Dodgers and the Pittsburgh Pirates meet in MLB action from PNC Park on Wednesday night.

The Los Angeles Dodgers will look to build on their 11-1 win over the Pirates from Tuesday’s matchup. Freddie Freeman has a team-high 33 hits with a .314 batting average and is one of three Dodgers with 13 RBIs. Trea Turner has a team-high 21 RBIs as well as 28 hits. Freeman also has 10 doubles to lead the Dodgers while Mookie Betts has a team-high 5 home runs. The Dodgers did not have a starting pitcher announced at the time that this article was posted.

The Pittsburgh Pirates will try to bounce back from their beatdown loss at the hands of the Dodgers on Tuesday. Ke’Bryan Hayes has a team-high 32 hits and 8 doubles with a team-high .337 batting average as well while Daniel Vogelbach has a team-high 4 home runs and 11 RBIs. Ben Gamel also has a team-high 13 RBIs while Michael Chavis also has 13 RBIs and Bryan Reynolds has 4 home runs of his own on the year. The Pirates did not have a starting pitcher announced at the time that this article was posted.

It can be somewhat hard to really give out a play considering that we don’t have a starting pitching matchup, and with this game being so early, we may not have much time to wait for a starter to be announced here so that being said, I’m likely rolling with the Dodgers -1.5. There’s really no one that the Pirates can send to the mound that will give me any sort of confidence that they’ll be able to keep the runs off of the board like we saw in Tuesday’s game and I think this one could end up being one-sided once again on such a quick turnaround. Give me L.A. on the run line.
