The Philadelphia Flyers (25-43-11) touch down in Chicago to face the Chicago Blackhawks (26-42-11) Monday at United Center. Puck drop is slated for 8 p.m. ET (ESPN+). Below, we look at the Flyers vs. Blackhawks odds and lines, and make our expert NHL picks, predictions and bets.

The Flyers enter this one soaring from a 4-1 upset over the Pittsburgh Penguins Sunday as +210 underdogs. They have won two games in a row and have scored 10 goals in the process. LW Noah Cates, a 23-year-old rookie, had 2 goals and an assist Sunday and has 3 goals and 4 assists in his last five outings.

Chicago has dropped two in a row, by 4-1 deficits, and has lost eight of 10. Their star LW Alex DeBrincat has really cooled off. The 40-goal scorer has just lit the lamp twice this month.

Flyers at Blackhawks odds and lines

  • Money line: Flyers +115 (bet $100 to win $115) | Blackhawks -140 (bet $140 to win $100)
  • Against the spread (ATS): Flyers +1.5 (-220) | Blackhawks -1.5 (+165)
  • Over/Under (O/U): 6.5 (O: -107 | U: -115)

Flyers at Blackhawks projected goalies

Felix Sandstrom (0-2-1, 3.29 GAA, .915 SV%) vs. Kevin Lankinen (6-15-6, 3.62 GAA, .887 SV%)

The 25-year-old Sandstrom is searching for his first professional win. He has stopped 108 of 118 shots in his young career but has only been given 5 goals of support across his three starts.

Lankinen is 2-6-1 with a 3.59 GAA and .889 SV% in April with wins against the Phoenix Coyotes and San Jose Sharks. The Flyers beat him 4-3 in March as he stopped 23 of 27 shots.

Money line

We’re going to stick with the hot hand here as Philadelphia has scored 18 goals in the last five games and is ending its season on a high note. The Flyers have won six in a row against Chicago, and they’ll make it seven Monday. Take the FLYERS (+115).

Against the spread

You could opt to just stick with the money line here, but there are just a few games left to throw down on. I’ll consider the Alternate Spread Flyers -1.5 (+250). Philadelphia’s last three wins, and four of its last five victories, have been by three goals. Otherwise, PASS.

Over/Under

This one could go either way and I’ll probably stick to the puck line.

However, The Over hit earlier in March with a 4-3 finish between these two and has cashed in the last four contests at United Center. It’s 3-0-1 in the last four Flyers road games and in the last four when they’re road underdogs. It’s also 4-0 in the last four Flyers games against teams with a losing record. Too many Over trends to ignore. LEAN OVER 6.5 (-107).
