The Chicago Blackhawks will try to snap a six-game losing skid after a 2-0 loss to Seattle last time out. Patrick Kane leads the Blackhawks with 80 points including 22 goals and 58 assists while Seth Jones has 47 points including 42 assists and Alex DeBrincat also has 67 points with a team-high 39 goals this season. Kevin Lankinen is 4-11-6 with a 3.55 GAA and an .890 save percentage in goal for Chicago this season.

Dallas is 5-1 in their last 6 road games and 26-10 in their last 36 games as a favorite while the under is 3-0-1 in their last 4 games played on no rest. Chicago is 6-20 in their last 26 games as a home underdog and 26-54 in their last 80 games overall while the over is 4-1-1 in their last 6 games as an underdog.

I get the case to be made for a home underdog in certain spots, but the Stars are the only team with anything of any sort to play for here besides pride. Chicago has the talent, but they haven’t put it together this season and the Blackhawks are just playing out the string at this point. Give me the Stars who are just the better team playing better hockey.
