The Montreal Canadiens have traded forward Tyler Toffoli to the Calgary Flames in exchange for forwards Emil Heineman, Tyler Pitlick, a first-round pick and a fifth-round pick according to several reports.

The trade was first hinted by Elliotte Friedman, and the return was first reported by Darren Dreger.
