After Anthony Martial found himself struggling for opportunity at Manchester United, the Frenchman made clear his desire to leave the club on loan in order to get back on the pitch. Martial has been angling for the move a while now, but on Monday, Manchester United finally agreed to send him off for the remainder of the season. Per Fabrizio Romano, Manchester United and Sevilla agreed to terms on a six-month loan for the out-of-favor Red Devils’ striker.

The Spanish club agreed to pay the full cost of Martial’s wages for the remainder of the season in order to bring the 26-year-old to Seville. Per Sports Illustrated, Martial earns approximately £250,000 per week, meaning the cost of the loan will approach the £6.5 million mark.
