Former Colorado State football coach Steve Addazio will soon be coaching in the SEC.

The 62-year-old Addazio is set to be hired as the offensive line coach at Texas A&M, first reported by TexAgs.com and later confirmed by FootballScoop and Brett McMurphy.

Addazio was fired in December shortly after concluding a 3-9 season in his second year in charge of the Rams.

He is owed a $3 million buyout to be paid over the final three years of his original contract, but per the terms of his CSU contract that number would be reduced by his salary Texas A&M.

Texas A&M has not formally announced his hire and salary details are not yet available. Josh Henson was Texas A&M's offensive line coach the past three seasons before leaving to join the USC staff. Henson had a base compensation of $720,000 in 2021, according to a USA Today database of assistant coach pay.
