With just 3 weeks left in the regular season and the playoff races reaching fever pitch, we are seeing COVID once again having an impact on the schedule. This is why we are still waiting for a pair of Week 15 games moved to Tuesday night, which could potentially have a ripple effect on the schedule coming down the home stretch. There are going to be several teams coming in on a short week, which could have a negative impact on playoff standings and divisional races. This is something to keep an eye on as you make your selections for Week 16. We are going to go ahead and get out ATS picks in now, knowing full well that the NFL odds could change dramatically if more players are placed in health and safety protocols.

Week 16 ATS Picks for the 2021 Season | NFL Betting

LA Chargers (-8) at Houston Texans

The Chargers are sitting at 8-6 on the season and clinging to the #6 seed in what is a ridiculously tight race in the AFC. They went into last weekend on a modest 2-game winning streak and gave the Kansas City Chiefs all they could handle before eventually taking the loss. That killed any chance they had of winning the division, so it’s now all about getting the wins they need to secure a postseason spot. You would certainly like their chances against the lowly Houston Texans on the road this weekend, although Houston is coming off a win. No one there is getting too carried away, though, as it came against Jacksonville. While the Chargers are just 3-6 ATS in their last 9 games overall, they have covered the spread in 6 of their last 7 versus the Texans.

Chicago Bears at Seattle Seahawks (-7 ½)

The Seahawks are one of the teams who have seen their schedule changed this week, with their Week 15 game versus the LA Rams moved to Tuesday night. With that in mind, be aware that the odds might well change for this one based on what happens in that game. We are going with the spread as it stands now. The danger with this game is that there is nothing really left for either of these teams to play for, other than pride. Both will be out of the playoffs, which makes this a little tougher to predict. What we do know is that the Bears have not been a great pick against the spread this season, going 4-10 ATS to this point. The Seahawks come into this one having win 2 in a row and covering in both of those games, which is why I like them here.

Washington Football Team at Dallas Cowboys (-10 ½)

This is another game that could well be impacted by the change to the schedule in Week 15, as Washington will be playing the Philadelphia Eagles on Tuesday night ahead of this primetime tilt on Sunday night. After a little bit of a hiccup in the middle of the season, the Dallas Cowboys are back on track, coming into this one on a 3-game win streak. They have double-digit wins on the season and are eyeing the #1 seed in the NFC, although they will have some stiff competition. Washington will lose their slim hopes of winning the division with a loss on Tuesday night, which could play right into the hands of the Cowboys, who are an impressive 11-3 ATS this season.
