Champions League Matchday 6 takes place this week. Although all teams will play on either Tuesday or Wednesday, the odds shouldn’t matter much. Manchester City is the less than +300 favorite while Bayern Munich is second choice at +390. Three other teams, Paris Saint-Germain, Chelsea, and Liverpool, show odds lower than +600. As teams move to the second round, it makes sense to analyze CL title odds. Keep reading for updated Champions League odds as well as an analysis.

Before Matchday 6, what teams have already been eliminated?
Dortmund, Club Brugge, Zenit, Dynamo Kiev, Young Boys, Sheriff Tiraspol and Shakhtar Donetsk won’t continue. Among the teams eliminated, no doubt the biggest surprise is Dortmund.
Borussia made a nice run in last year’s Champions League. This season, though, things never got on track. Dortmund had to play without Erling Haaland and Jadon Sancho. Haaland was injured to start the season while Sancho took a trip to Manchester to play for the Red Devils.
Without Sancho, Dortmund could have survived. But they couldn’t survive without Sancho and Haaland.
Why has Paris Saint-Germain fall from the favorite’s role?
Lionel Messi was the biggest splash signing in, maybe, soccer history. But Messi and Mbappe hasn’t worked as advertised.
PSG appears to be having the same issues they had before signing Messi. At times, the players aren’t on the same page. Also, it’s tough to know who the prime striker is with Messi, Mbappe, and Neymar on the roster.
With that being said, the odds on Paris make them an attractive play. After all, eventually, all of those superstars will become a cohesive group. Once it does, Paris Saint-Germain could mow down their CL rivals.
Is Man City worth a look at the odds? How about Manchester United?
The Sky Blues are worth a look, but probably not a long look. City lost to Chelsea in last season’s CL final. At the odds, it’s hard to have faith in Pep’s squad.
United might be the better play. The Red Devils struggled in their Premier League games before ditching Solskjaer but they had been playing great in their Champions League matches.
Interim head coach Ralf Rangnick has already paid dividends. Heading into their match versus Young Boys, Man U has 3 victories, including one over AC Milan, and a draw against Chelsea in their last 4.
United could be a tough team to deal with once group play finishes.
What is the best underdog play and the two best overlay plays?
Juventus is the best underdog play. Real and the Blues are the two best overlay plays.
Juvy has 12 points, which means they should absolutely move to the next round. In his first stint with Juventus, Masimilliano Allegri routinely took Juventus to the Champions League semifinals. Allegri has Juvy playing his brand of lockdown defense, which makes the Serie A squad a contender.
The two overlays are Real Madrid and Chelsea. The Blues won the Champions League last season. If anything, Chelsea is a better team this season.
Real Madrid has taken charge in LaLiga’s Primera Division. Real made a fantastic CL run last season. It’s obvious they’re more cohesive this season. At the odds, Real is the top overlay pick to win the Champions League.
