UFC Fight Night: Font Vs Aldo Betting Odds & Picks

Author:

The end of the year is not that far away, and neither is the end of the UFC calendar for 2021. There are now just 3 events remaining in the UFC schedule and the first of those 3 is set to go on Saturday night at 6:30 PM EST. The latest UFC Fight Night has a stacked main card, with no less than 6 fights set to go this coming Saturday. The headline event of the night looks like a great one, but there are a lot of good matchups ahead of that. Let’s get to the previews and predictions for each bout so you can get ready to bet against the UFC odds.

MMA Betting Preview for UFC Fight Night: Font Vs Aldo

Alex Morono (-235) Vs Mickey Gall (+180)

The main card begins with a Welterweight bout between a pair of very good fighters looking for more consistency. Morono is on the path to getting there, winning back-to-back fights ahead of this one, but he still has 2 losses in his last 5. Gall is 7-3 and on a run that has seen him win one, lose one over his past 5 fights. I think Morono takes this one via decision.

Brendan Allen (-345) Vs Chris Curtis (+270)

Next up is a Middleweight bout that has an up-and-coming fighter going against an MMA veteran. Allen is ranked just outside the top 10 with a 17-4 record and 4 wins in his last 5 fights. He could move into the top 10 with a win here, but Curtis is no pushover. He is 27-8 overall and is on a 6-fight win streak. A tough for Allen, but I think he passes the test.

Clay Guida (+160) Vs Leonardo Santos (-195)

A couple of MMA veterans will step into the octagon for a Lightweight bout that promises to be entertaining. Guida is 36-21 and potentially looking at the end of life in the UFC after losing 3 of his last 4 fights. Santos is 18-4-1 and saw a 6-fight win streak come to an end with a loss last time out. I like this one to go all the way, with Santos edging it.

Jimmy Crute (-170) Vs Jamahal Hill (+140)

This is an important Light Heavyweight bout for both fighters as they look to move up the rankings and get back on track with a win. Crute came flying out the gate as a pro with 10 straight wins, but he has struggled of late, going 2-2 in his last 4. Hill comes into this one on the heels of his first career loss, falling to 8-1 in the process. A good one here, with Crute getting it via submission.

Rafael Fiziev (-125) Vs Brad Riddell (-105)

Next up is the co-main event of the night, a Lightweight bout that looks very evenly matched. Fiziev rebounded nicely from his lone career loss, winning 4 in a row to get to 10-1 overall. Riddell has the same 10-1 record and is coming into this bout on a 7-fight win streak. A bit of a coin flip here, but I am taking Riddell via decision.

Rob Font (-145) Vs Jose Aldo (+115)

It’s the Bantamweights who close out the event, with both of these fighters in the top 10 in the division. Font comes in with a 19-4 record and on a solid run of form, having won each of his last 4 fights. Aldo is rebuilding after losing 3 in a row and has won back-to-back fights ahead of this one. I’m siding with the underdog and taking Aldo to win a close one.
