The Washington Nationals optioned outfielder Victor Robles to Triple-A Rochester on Tuesday.

Robles, 24, hasn’t played at the Triple-A level since 2018. He became a fixture in Washington’s lineup at the start of 2019, playing 155 games that year on the way to the Nationals’ World Series victory.

In 107 games this season, Robles is batting just .203 with two home runs, 21 doubles, 19 RBIs and 85 strikeouts.
