Edmonton Oilers forward Colby Cave dies after suffering brain bleed

Edmonton Oilers forward Colby Cave died early Saturday morning after suffering a brain bleed Monday and having to undergo emergency surgery.

He was 25.

A product of North Battleford, Sask., Cave had emergency surgery to remove a colloid cyst that was causing pressure to his brain, according to the Oilers, and was place in a medically-induced coma.

Saturday morning, the Oilers put out a statement from his wife Emily:
