José Mourinho Gets Firm Message From Sadiq Khan After Ignoring Social Distancing Rules

Complex

The coronavirus lockdown doesn't seem to be going away anytime soon, and with further social restrictions being expected to be put in place in the coming days, the UK depends on influential figures to set the correct examples.

Tottenham Hotspur boss, José Mourinho has faced some scrutiny recently as he was spotted training with three Spurs players on Hadley Common in North London. Mourinho could face a police warning after being seen conducting a training drill which appeared to see him and four players (Ryan Sessegnon, Tanguy Ndombele, Davinson Sanchez, Serge Aurier) training in close proximity to members of the public.

The Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, had some words of his own for Mourinho: "My concern is people, particularly children who may support Spurs or follow football, will watch these images and say: 'If it's OK for them, why isn't it OK for me?'
