Despite his team's third straight loss in Week 9 to the Miami Dolphins, New York Jetsowner Christopher Johnson is expected to remain patient with head coach Adam Gase, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Gase may be on the hot seat with his squad sitting 1-7, but the team's ownership is not yet inclined to make a head-coaching change, sources told Schefter.

The Jets reportedly believe the team's situation will sort itself out, especially considering Gase and new general manager Joe Douglas have only worked together for five months without a full offseason.
