Things have calmed down for the Minnesota Vikings after last week’s drama explosion. Time and winning certainly helped. And now that things seem to be back on track, wide receiver Stefon Diggs tried to add a little clarity to his original comments from last week.
#Vikings WR Stefon Diggs on his comments last week: "I never said I was unhappy or uncomfortable with my role. I said I wanted to win, that was what my frustrations were and that's where it kind of got misconstrued last week.'' — Chris Tomasson (@christomasson) October 9, 2019
After Week 4, in which the Vikings had been embarrassingly beaten by the Chicago Bears, it wasn’t hard to see where Diggs’ frustration was coming from. He missed several team meetings and practices in the lead up to Week 5, and according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, his teammates questioned whether he still wanted to be there.
