Julius Randle Responds To Kevin Durant’s Comment That Playing For Knicks Isn’t Cool

North Jersey

Not long after Kevin Durant announced he was headed to the Brooklyn Nets on the first day of NBA free agency, Julius Randle agreed to a contract with the New York Knicks.

The decisions of Durant and Kyrie Irving to both head to the Nets changed the landscape of the league, and it sparked more questions about why the Knicks weren't able to attract two of the game's top stars despite having the necessary cap space to make it happen.

Then in a radio interview Tuesday, Durant said the Knicks weren't "cool" anymore.

Some of the Knicks responded after their practice on Wednesday, disagreeing with Durant's comments and saying the team's history was part of the appeal to sign.
