It looks as if Steven Adams’ time as an Oklahoma City Thunder will be coming to an end soon. As reported earlier by Sean Deveney, the Thunder “are seeking a draft pick, a young player and salary relief” for Steven Adams.
Adams has been a great center for the Thunder thus far and just had his best season as a pro last season where he averaged 13.9 points and 9.5 rebounds and played in all but 2 games for the Thunder.
Steven Adams just turned 26 in July and can provide a ton for any team that is interested in him. Here are two teams that should look to trade for Steven Adams.
Steven Adams looks to be the type of player that the Bulls are missing. Jim Boylen, the Chicago Bulls coach, loves a gritty, hard-working player and Adams is that. For the Bulls, Adams would provide great rebounding and interior defense. He is an excellent screen-setter and is someone who excels at offensive rebounding. Those extra possessions would be key for the Bulls and Steven could be the player that propels them to the playoffs.
A potential Stevens Adams trade would be Wendell Carter Jr., Denzel Valentine, Kris Dunn, and Thaddeus Young in exchange for Steven Adams and a 2nd round pick. Now, this trade may look as if the Bulls are giving up a lot but let me explain.
