Nebraska’s Khalil Davis suspended 1 game for striking Ohio State player

The Spun

A Nebraska football player has been suspended for one game after he struck an Ohio State player during their game on Saturday.

According to a report from college football insider Brett McMurphy, defensive end Khalil Davis won’t play this weekend against Northwestern.

The move comes after he allegedly struck a member of the Buckeyes.

“Nebraska DE Khalil Davis suspended Saturday vs. Northwestern & issued a public reprimand for violating the Big Ten Sportsmanship Policy after he struck an Ohio State player in 1st quarter of last week’s loss to Buckeyes,” McMurphy said on Wednesday.
