A key member of a Baylor team that made it past the first round of the NCAA tournament last season will not be back with the team in the 2019-20 season.
Baylor announced on Friday that it has indefinitely suspended forward Mario Kegler and that he has decided to pursue a professional career and forego his remaining collegiate eligibility.

His career at Baylor got off to a rough start. After sitting out his first season following transferring from Mississippi State to satisfy NCAA transfer requirements, Kegler was suspended for the first six games of the 2018-19 season for a violation of team rules.
