Shea Patterson was not the quarterback for four series during the second half of Michigan’s win over Middle Tennessee on Saturday, and an injury likely explains why.
Jim Harbaugh said after the Wolverines’ 40-21 win that Patterson was “working through” something.
“I thought Shea played extremely well. He probably didn’t tell you but he was working through a little something, he was being evaluated at halftime. I was keeping a close eye on him,” Harbaugh said, via The Michigan Insider. “Had some quarterback runs designed in the third quarter that I prefer to see Dylan (McCaffrey) running because I didn’t want to make Shea’s issue worse.”
