ESPN’s Dan Le Batard calls out Paul Finebaum on claim Miami is a ‘third-world’ program

ESPN

ESPN radio host and pesonality Dan Le Batard is demanding that ESPN college football analyst Paul Finebaum clarify his comment on Monday that the University of Miami has a "third-world program," an assessment Finebaum made in response to an alleged attack on the University of Florida band director by a Miami fan after Saturday's game.

Florida and Miami opened their college football season in Orlando over the weekend, and the No. 8 Gators held on for a 24-20 win at Camping World Stadium. In the sea of fans outside the stadium after the game, Florida band director John Watkins was reportedly involved in an altercation, but declined to press charges against a fan who attacked him.

During Monday's edition of The Paul Finebaum Show, a caller asked Finebaum about the report, and Finebaum said that "when it comes to Miami, nothing surprises" him.
