Is Marc Marquez truly worth backing at the odds to win the 2019 British MotoGP?

It’s hard to think that Marc Marquez could lose back-to-back Moto Grand Prix races. But, he wasn’t unbeatable up until Austria. Marquez won the Spanish GP and French GP, but finished second to Danilo Petrucci at the Italian GP. He won the Catalan Grand Prix, but finished second to Maverick Vinales at the Dutch TT.

He won back-to-back after taking the German and Czech Moto Grand Prix, but then just lost in Austria. Marquez has lost 3-of-8. That makes him the favorite for sure, but at -5000 odds? It’s tough to see Marquez losing back-to-back. -5000 odds are too low to accept, though. So, we should probably pass.

Can Andrea Dovizioso make it back-to-back victories? If not will Petrucci, Rins, or Vinales step in his way?

Dovizioso most definitely was on top of his game in Austria. When motorcycle racers get things going well, thing have a tendency to continue to go well. Dovizioso can win back-to-back this Sunday. He deserves a look at the odds.

If he doesn’t perform well, the driver with the best chance to beat him not named Marc Marquez could be Maverick Vinales. Vinales finished second at Germany and fifth at Austria. Vinales has a real shot of winning the British GP if both Marquez and Dovizioso falter.

Is there a driver at 6-digit odds that has any shot of winning the 2019 British Moto Grand Prix?

Fabio Quartararo offers ridiculous +100000 odds. Quartararo finished third at the Austrian MotoGP behind Marquez and Dovizioso. Should he win on Sunday? Nope. But at the insane odds, he’s worth a look if you want to take a big shot.

Also, you don’t have to wager that much for a huge return if the unthinkable happens.
