If the Florida Gators plan to knock off Georgia in the SEC East, then they’ll need as many of their top recruits to contribute as possible. Unfortunately, one of the Gators’ best recruits heading into this season appears to be leaving before getting a chance to play.
According to The Athletic’s Will Sammon, Florida is releasing four-star wide receiver Arjei Henderson from his national letter of intent. Per the report, Henderson didn’t get academically eligible at Florida in time.
247Sports rated Henderson as the No. 140 overall recruit in the country. He was the No. 23 wide receiver in the nation, and the No. 22 prospect from the state of Texas.
