Alabama will have to move forward without the top-ranked offensive player from this year’s freshman class.
Five-star freshman running back Trey Sanders suffered a significant foot injury on the last play of the team’s practice Thursday night and is expected to miss the entire season, according to sources.
It’s an unfortunate blow for the Crimson Tide. Sanders, the top-ranked running back and No. 6 overall recruit in this year’s recruiting class, had seemingly gotten off to a great start at Alabama and was expected to be a factor within the Tide’s running back rotation this season.
