The Pirates announced that reliever Keone Kela has been suspended for two games due to violation of his Uniform Player’s Contract.

Kela began serving the two-game suspension Monday against the Cardinals.

Kela was recalled from his rehab assignment and reinstated from the 60-day injured list Monday, then was placed on the suspended list.
