Manchester United are determined to stop Real Madrid derailing Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s plans for the new season with a late move for Paul Pogba.

United are refusing to budge on their stance that the Spanish giants will have to pay £150million to take Pogba to the Bernabeu.

And they will not sell the Frenchman at ANY price if Madrid launch a bid after the English transfer window closes on the afternoon of Thursday, August 8.

La Liga clubs have until September 2 to buy and sell players – and the worry at Old Trafford is that Madrid will use every minute of that extra time to maintain their charm offensive towards Pogba and force United to sell the 26-year-old midfielder closer to their own £100m valuation.
