The whole NBA world has known what the Los Angeles Lakers offered the New Orleans Pelicans in an Anthony Davis trade for months. We know because every step of the negotiations were leaked to the public. The only question regarding those negotiations was who decided to make them public, but if Magic Johnson is to be believed, it was former Pelicans GM Dell Demps. While Johnson claims to have asked Demps to keep offers between the two of them, he says that Demps decided not to do so.

From a leverage standpoint, Demps is certainly the likeliest culprit behind the leaks. By revealing who Johnson was willing to offer, he destabilized the Lakers' locker room and made them desperate. Players knew that they were on the trading block and it affected the way that they played.
