Rick Stroud notes that with the release of DT Gerald McCoy on Monday, one possible option for the Buccaneers at defensive tackle worth watching is free agent Ndamukong Suh.
Greg Auman adds that Suh’s name has been circulating on Monday as a potential replacement for McCoy. Auman notes that McCoy played in a 3-4 with Rams last year and while he’s older than McCoy by a year, he would be less expensive for their cap at around $10 million or so per year.
Suh’s market has been nonexistent up to this point. Although, it’s likely because he’s waiting for the right opportunity to surface for him on top of the fact that he’s expected to be seeking $10 million or more per year.
