James Harden suffered a worrisome eye injury Tuesday night when Draymond Green inadvertently swiped him across the face while fighting for a rebound during the Golden State Warriors’ Game 2 win over the Houston Rockets.

He was left with a laceration on the inside of his left eyelid and told reporters after the game that he had trouble seeing when he returned the game in the second quarter.

“I could barely see,” Harden said. “It’s pretty blurry right now. Hopefully it gets better day by day.”

Mike D’Antoni said during the game that Harden was bleeding from the eyes, and Harden frequently shielded his eyes during breaks in play after he returned.
