Frank Clark is currently embroiled in a contract dispute with the Seattle Seahawks, so, naturally, there has been some trade chatter surrounding the star defensive end.
Of course, the Seahawks don’t have to trade Clark, as he is under contract through the end of 2019, but that won’t stop teams from trying.
Like the New York Jets, for example.
According to Tony Pauline of Draft Analyst, the Jets tried to acquire Clark earlier this offseason and may be looking to do so again during next week’s NFL Draft.
Pauline notes that New York was originally hoping that the pass rusher would hit free agency, but because Seattle placed a franchise tag on him, the Jets will have to trade for him if they hope to acquire him this offseason.
