The NFL announced that Washington Redskins linebacker Reuben Foster will be fined two game checks — but will face no suspension — from an incident that led to an arrest in Tampa, Florida, on suspicion of misdemeanor domestic violence battery in November of last year. The charge against Foster was dropped in January.
The incident led to Foster's release from the San Francisco 49ers and subsequent waiver claim by the Redskins.
Below is the statement from the league:
Today, the NFL notified Reuben Foster of the Washington Redskins that he will be fined two game checks following a review of recent incidents and an assessment of his adherence to obligations arising from previous violations of league policies.
