Mauricio Pochettino refuses to confirm he will be at Tottenham next season

The Telegraph

Mauricio Pochettino has once again refused to offer any promises that he will be Tottenham Hotspur manager next season and claimed that Virgil van Dijk has been a £75million bargain for Liverpool.

Manchester United this week confirmed the permanent appointment of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, ending their interest in Pochettino, after Real Madrid re-appointed Zinedine Zidane.

Pochettino has reiterated his commitment to Spurs, but explained why he could not give supporters any assurances over his future.

Asked whether he will definitely be Tottenham manager next season, Pochettino said: “It’s the same question as two months ago, three months ago. It does not depend only on me, it’s about Daniel (Levy) too.
