Jordan Bell was suspended by the Golden State Warriors on Wednesday for conduct detrimental to the team, and now we have an understanding of what led to it.
The Athletic’s Sam Amick and Anthony Slater reported late on Wednesday some details about what led to the suspension. They reported that Bell had charged something to Mike Brown’s hotel room, leaving the assistant coach to pay for it. The Warriors investigated and learned that Bell was behind it and also discovered it wasn’t the first time Bell had done something similar. That’s why they decided to suspend him.
A Twitter user named @MGRADS, whose story was liked and retweeted by Bell, shared what he said was the real story. He says Bell started charging small items to teammates’ rooms as revenge for them doing the same to him.
