Real Madrid are ready to back Zidane in the transfer marker after luring their former manager back to the club.
Zidane has the backing of club president Florenitno Perez to spend big in the summer transfer market.
And reports in France this afternoon claim Zidane has his eyes firmly on Mbappe.
According to France Football, Real are ready to move for Mbappe imminently and will smash the transfer record in doing so.
PSG currently hold the transfer record, which was broken when Neymar joined the Qatar-owned club from Barcelona in a £200m hostile deal back in the summer of 2017.
Real have themselves been linked to Neymar since then but Zidane wants Mbappe at the Bernabeu.
France Football claim Perez is set to go all out to land 20-year-old Mbappe once the season is over.
Mbappe has already won the World Cup with France and the Ligue 1 title at PSG in his young career.
