Former first-round pick and Chicago Bears wide receiver Kevin White is expected to sign with the Arizona Cardinals, according to the NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
After finishing with 109 receptions for 1,447 yards and 10 touchdowns as a senior for West Virginia, White was the seventh overall pick in the 2015 NFL Draft by the Chicago Bears. At 6-foot-3 and 215 pounds, White ran a 4.35 40-yard dash at the NFL Combine.
Injuries have been the story of White’s career. He’s only played in 14 total NFL games over four seasons with the Bears.
White did not play in his rookie season, dealing with an injury to his left shin that ultimately led to a stress fracture in OTAs. After four games in the 2016 season, White fractured his fibula in that same left leg and missed the rest of the season.
