Former Rutgers offensive lineman Jonah Jackson has decided to transfer to Ohio State.
Jackson — who was ranked at the No. 5 overall player on the transfer market this offseason — took to Twitter to announce his decision and will be able to play right away as a graduate transfer. He is the second player to join the Buckeyes after listing his name in the NCAA Transfer Portal, joining quarterback Justin Fields, who transferred to Ohio State from Georgia.
The 6-foot-4, 305-pound fifth-year senior was a three-star recruit in the 2015 class and earned honorable-mention All-Big Ten honors as the Scarlet Knights’ starting right guard in 2018.
