Per Tony Jones of the Athletic, the Utah Jazz have “no traction” on a potential deal for Toronto Raptors star Kyle Lowry.
However, they are still focused on acquiring Mike Conley from the Memphis Grizzlies.
As of now, there is no traction on a potential Kyle Lowry to Utah trade, league sources tell The Athletic. Jazz are focused on Mike Conley — Tony Jones (@Tjonesonthenba) February 6, 2019
Ever since the Grizzlies announced that they would be putting Conley and Marc Gasol on the trading block, the Jazz has been involved in rumors for Conley.
The Jazz are a few star pieces away from being a legitimate playoff contender. Ricky Rubio is a fine point guard, but his lack of shooting really limits him from being an elite primary ball-handler.
The Jazz with Conley would have the spacing and offensive firepower to really match up with anyone with the West.
