Klay Thompson shooting 10 straight 3-pointers before missing one was not the only NBA record that he established Monday night against the Los Angeles Lakers. The Golden State Warriors star also put up the most efficient shooting display in league history.
With Stephen Curry mustering only 11 points and Kevin Durant scoring 20, Thompson made up for the difference in the two superstars’ averages by erupting for 44 points. The Warriors shooting guard hit 17 of his 20 shots overall while going 10-for-11 from long distance.
Klay Thompson’s efforts were enough to power the Warriors to a 130-111 win over the Lakers.
