Tottenham fear Harry Kane could be out for up to four weeks with the ankle injury picked up against Manchester United.
Kane went down injured in the final stages of Sunday's 1-0 defeat at Wembleyand the club won't know the full extent of the knock until the swelling goes down.
It is understood Kane could miss as much as a month with the England striker potentially targeting a possible Carabao Cup final on February 24, should Spurs make it past Chelsea in the semi-final, for a return.
It is the third successive season that Kane has sustained an ankle injury, the most recent one keeping him out for a fortnight last March.
