Terrell Owens calls for Jason Garrett’s firing after playoff loss

Larry Brown Sports

Terrell Owens levied some harsh criticism against Jason Garrett as the Dallas Cowboys were defeated by the Los Angeles Rams in the playoffs on Saturday.

As time was ticking down on the 30-22 final, the former Cowboys wide receiver sent a tweet saying it was “time for a coaching change.” He cited Garrett’s two playoff wins in 10 years, saying that’s not enough. He was even sharper in his criticism, saying Garrett isn’t the answer and never will be.

Calling for Jason Garrett’s firing is always a popular topic, but Jerry Jones has remained loyal to him. Garrett proved Jones right by turning things around this season after a 3-5 start. The Cowboys probably got the most out of their talent this season and did better than expected. Going 10-6, winning the division, and a playoff game is impressive for that crew.
