Alabama sophomore defensive end LaBryan Ray was arrested Friday night on an alleged charge of public intoxication, according to the Tuscaloosa County Sheriff's Office online arrest database.
The violation carries a bond of $500, and Ray was still listed in the Tuscaloosa County Jail as of 11:30 a.m. Saturday.
Ray was arrested about 7 p.m. Friday night after refusing to leave an establishment and was detained by security until Tuscaloosa police arrived. Following an initial investigation, officers determined Ray was intoxicated, and he was transported to the police department for booking before going to the Tuscaloosa County Jail.
Ray, a former five-star signee and the top-rated player in Alabama in the 2017 class, has been a key reserve lineman his first two seasons with the Crimson Tide.
