The Los Angeles Rams will be without Todd Gurley for the second straight week on Sunday. After missing three days of practice, Gurley has officially been ruled out against the San Francisco 49ers. Sean McVay said he’s not concerned about Gurley’s knee, but the Rams “want to be smart about this.”
In addition to Gurley being out, Lamarcus Joyner also will not play against the 49ers. He’s been ruled out with an ankle injury, which he suffered in the fourth quarter of Sunday’s win over the Cardinals.
The Rams need a win or tie to clinch the No. 2 seed and a first-round bye in the playoffs, or they need the Bears to come away with a tie or loss against the Vikings.
