Astros star surprises fast food workers with big Christmas tip

Yahoo! Sports

It’s the season of giving, and it seems Major League Baseball players past, present and future are doing all they can to bring that holiday spirit to life.

Among the most giving this holiday season is Alex Bregman. In a video posted to his YouTube on Christmas Eve, the Houston Astros superstar surprised several fast food workers with $1,200 in tips for working so close to Christmas.

Bregman visited several different fast food restaurants. After pulling up to the drive-thru window, he would ask if the worker accepted tips. If the answer was yes, he would hand them $100.

Bregman’s biggest giveaway came at a KFC. When the drive-thru worker informed Bregman they had a crew of seven workers that night, the 2018 All-Star game MVP handed out $700 so everyone on the crew would get an unexpected Christmas bonus.
