Paul Pogba 'high-fived team-mates in delight' after learning that Jose Mourinho had been sacked as Manchester United manager.
The French midfielder has been involved in a long-running feud with the now ex-United boss that culminated in the £89million signing being left on the bench during Sunday's 3-1 loss at Liverpool.
Mourinho was sacked by United executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward in the aftermath of that Anfield defeat and the mood around the club's training ground was transformed in an instant.
According to the Daily Mirror, Pogba led the dressing-room celebrations, high-fiving his team-mates after the news broke on Tuesday morning.
Pogba and Mourinho had been at loggerheads for some time, with the manager stripping the World Cup winner of the vice-captaincy in a dressing down in front of the United squad earlier in the season.
