Chargers RB Melvin Gordon said he’ll be a game-time decision for Thursday’s game against the Chiefs.
“I’ve been grinding hard to get back and we’re still trying to decide what we’re going to do,” Gordon said, via ESPN.com. “I know Coach [Anthony Lynn] is trying to be careful and doesn’t want me to further hurt myself or things like that. So we’ll see where that goes, but I’m a lot stronger and more confident than I was last week.”
Chargers HC Anthony Lynn said he’s “hopeful” Gordon will be available, but he’s also not committing to anything right now.
“I’m hopeful,” Lynn said. “He’s one of our better players. I’d like for him to play. We’re trying to win every game we can to get into the playoffs, but if he’s not ready, he’s not going to play.”
