The Winter Meetings are where tons and tons of rumors are generated. Many of them never come to fruition at all, but when you get every team in the league together in close proximity with the goal of getting together to make things happen, rumors and speculation is going to run wild.
Such is the case today as we have already seen a slew of Dallas Keuchel related rumors with most reputable reporters saying that there really isn’t anything to such talk. Now, we turn our attention to another rumor that makes a bit of sense although also worth taking with a grain of salt.
Nick Castellanos is an interesting option to fill the Braves’ corner outfield opening as he had a really strong year at the plate last season. Castellanos posted a .298/.354/.500 line in 2018 with 23 home runs for the Tigers and he has been mentioned as someone who could be on the move this offseason.
