San Francisco 49ers cornerback Richard Sherman spoke about the rest of his career on Thursday.
While Sherman isn’t planning on retiring any time soon, he does have a sense of when he’ll call it a career.
“I think 35 is probably my cutoff,” Sherman said in a media session on Thursday. “They’d have a hard time getting me out of the bed at 35 to go play so I think I’ve got about four or five more in me.”
If that’s accurate, we can expect Sherman to stick around through 2022. He’ll turn 35 before the 2023 season kicks off.
